San Simon, also known as Simon's Bay, is Izola's most frequented beach, drawing crowds of swimmers throughout the summer season. The beach features a sandy bay, the remnants of an ancient Roman villa, a beach volleyball court, and the last waterslide on the Slovenian coast. Shady green meadows, pine trees, and acacias border the bathing area, offering respite from the sun. A multi-purpose sports court is also available for those seeking more active recreation.

Parking is conveniently located directly by the beach. Lifeguards are on duty for visitor safety. The beach offers a snack bar, an ice cream and beverage bar, an umbrella and sun lounger rentals, and a water sports center.

San Simon is ideal for children, families, active swimmers, and young people.
