Borut Pust

My name is Borut, and I am a nationally licensed tour guide.

I have been passionate about travel for as long as I can remember. Whether it was day trips to nearby places in Slovenia, wandering around my hometown, or travelling around the world for months, I have always sincerely enjoyed discovering new places, landscapes, cities, and people.

As I am also a ski instructor and scuba diving instructor, and a great lover of literature, art, history, and culture, I have started to combine my hobbies with guiding in a way that is also close to the guests I am guiding with pleasure and grill.

I lead tours of Škofja Loka and Gorenjska, as well as tours of Ljubljana. My guided tours are in Slovene, English, Serbian, and Croatian. I tailor the programmes of my one-day and multi-day tours around Slovenia for small and large groups according to the visitors' wishes.

I show them the hidden gems of my country that they won't find in traditional

tourist catalogues, whether it's Škofja Loka and the Selška and Poljanska valleys, the Triglav National Park, or something else.

The greatest reward for my work, which I do again and again with gratitude and a hint of wonder, is the satisfied guests who swear that they will return to Slovenia - this green jewel on the southern side of the Alps - again and again.
