Triglav via Pokljuka (Tržaška Smer) — 20km Hard Hiking Trail in Gorenjska (1800m Elevation)

The Pokljuka route to Triglav is the most popular approach to Slovenia’s highest peak and national symbol at 2864 metres. The trail starts at Rudno Polje and climbs through the Triglav Lakes Valley before ascending steeply to the Kredarica hut, the highest mountain hut in Slovenia at 2515 metres. The final push to the summit follows exposed ridges and the famous steel cable-assisted sections, rewarding climbers with views across four countries on clear days.
