Slemenova Špica — 5km Medium Hiking Trail in Gorenjska (450m Elevation)

Slemenova Špica is a popular ridge hike starting directly from the Vršič Pass, the highest paved road crossing in Slovenia at 1611 metres. The trail gains 450 metres along a broad grassy ridge, offering increasingly dramatic views of the Prisank north face and the deep Trenta valley below. The summit panorama encompasses virtually the entire Julian Alps chain, making this one of the best effort-to-reward ratios in the mountains.
