Ratitovec — 10km Medium Hiking Trail in Gorenjska (1100m Elevation)

Ratitovec is a long grassy ridge on the southern edge of the Julian Alps that rewards hikers with one of the best panoramic viewpoints in Gorenjska. The trail from Zali Log climbs steadily through beech forest before emerging onto wide-open meadows that make up the summit plateau. The views encompass the entire Julian Alps chain from Triglav to Krn, the Bohinj basin below, and on clear days the Adriatic Sea glimmering on the horizon.
