The Piran Coastal Path traces the rugged limestone shoreline from Piran’s medieval harbour toward the Strunjan nature reserve. The route passes the Fiesa salt lakes, hidden swimming coves, and flysch cliffs that glow orange at sunset. On clear days, views extend across the Gulf of Trieste to the Italian coast and the snowy Julian Alps behind — all within Slovenia’s tiny 46-kilometre coastline.
