Golte Plateau — 8km Medium Hiking Trail in Savinjska (400m Elevation)

The Golte Plateau sits high above the Savinja Valley, accessible by cable car from the small town of Mozirje. The plateau itself is a rolling alpine grassland dotted with spruce clusters and wildflower meadows, offering easy walking with views of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps to the west. Several mountain huts serve traditional Savinja Valley dishes, and in June the meadows explode with orchids, arnica, and mountain lilies.
