The Savica Waterfall trail is a short but rewarding climb up 553 stone steps from the parking area at the western end of Lake Bohinj. The 78-metre waterfall emerges from a cave in a dramatic A-shape, fed by underground waters from the Triglav Lakes Valley above. The viewing platform faces the falls head-on, and on sunny days a rainbow often forms in the spray.
