Križna Jama is one of the most remarkable water caves in Slovenia, famous for its 22 underground lakes with crystal-clear emerald water. Visitors can take guided boat tours through the subterranean lakes, gliding silently through passages adorned with delicate calcite formations. The cave also contains significant Pleistocene fossil deposits, including remains of over 100 cave bears.
