Ojstrica is a small but steep wooded hill on the southern shore of Lake Bled that offers arguably the most iconic viewpoint in Slovenia. The 30-minute climb from the campsite follows a rooty forest path to a rocky outcrop where Lake Bled, its island church, the castle on the cliff, and the Julian Alps behind align in perfect postcard composition. Early morning visits avoid the crowds and catch the mist lifting off the lake.
