Črna Jama, or Black Cave, is connected to Pivka Cave and the Postojna system, forming one of the largest cave complexes in Europe. The cave houses a vivarium dedicated to endemic cave fauna, where visitors can observe cave beetles, spiders, and the rare Proteus in controlled habitats. Its dark-coloured walls, caused by manganese oxide deposits, give the cave its distinctive name.
