Pekel Cave, whose name translates to ‘Hell Cave’, features a spectacular 4-metre underground waterfall — the only accessible underground waterfall in Slovenia open to the public. Located in the Savinjska Valley near Šempeter, the cave offers a compact but dramatic tour through narrow passages and richly decorated chambers. The waterfall is most impressive after heavy rainfall when the flow intensifies.
