The Nadiža River near Podbela (between Kobarid and the Italian border) features natural swimming holes carved into smooth limestone, with water that ranges from turquoise to deep emerald. Less crowded than the Soča, the Nadiža is a local secret with several pools deep enough for jumping from surrounding rocks. The water is warmer than the Soča, typically 16-20°C in summer.
