Zbiljsko Jezero (Zbilje Lake) is a reservoir on the Sava River just 15 km northwest of Ljubljana, making it the closest lake swimming spot to the capital. The beach area has grass sunbathing zones and a restaurant, and the lake is warm enough for comfortable swimming from June through September. It is a favourite after-work escape for Ljubljana residents.
