Šmartinsko Jezero is a reservoir northeast of Celje that has become one of the most popular swimming destinations in the Savinjska region. The lake has designated swimming zones, a restaurant, and boat rental. On hot summer weekends it draws large crowds from Celje and surrounding towns, so weekday visits are more relaxing.
